关于参加6月24日写作指导沙龙直播活动的通知
6月24日活动的主题是“Academic Writing in the American University”（美国大学的学术写作），本次沙龙将采用互动的方式，简要介绍美国大学的学术写作概况，重点介绍这种状况形成的基本要素。在简要阐述大学生为何需要进行写作后，将对学术写作的重要基础加以讨论，包括论点、利益相关方、结构、动机以及如何正当高效的使用资源。
由于报名人数较多，所以仅有部分同学可以进入ZOOM会议室参加互动，其他报名的老师和同学将通过观看直播的方式参与活动。请手机观看的老师和同学扫描海报的二维码，电脑观看可以使用连接：http://lc.zhihuishu.com/live/index.html。

主讲人简介
哈佛大学写作课资深授课教师Lusia Zaitseva博士
Dr. Lusia Zaitseva, Preceptor, Harvard College Writing Program, Harvard University
Lusia Zaitseva is a preceptor at the Harvard College Writing Program, where she teaches both introductory and advanced academic writing and serves as a faculty director of the Writing Program Service Initiative, which brings student volunteers to underserved high schools in the Boston area. She has received numerous awards for her teaching and earned her B.A. in French literature from Columbia University before coming to Harvard to pursue a Ph.D. in comparative literature. Her doctoral work explored the ways that Soviet-era Russian writers employed childhood in order to negotiate their complex relationships to the state. Since earning her doctorate, she has studied transnational literary interactions during the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the West as well as between the Soviet Union and South Asia. She is currently translating the Urdu-language Soviet travelogue of Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, a renowned literary figure behind the Iron Curtain and a beloved poet not just in his native Pakistan, but across India and beyond. Dr. Zaitseva’s writing is forthcoming in the Slavic & Eastern European Journal (SEEJ), Slavic Review, PMLA, and Comparative Literature. Before joining the Writing Program, she served as a writing instructor, editor, and tutor for over a decade at both Harvard and beyond.
